There are also motor boats but I prefer non-motorized methods. The area you can paddle is covers a nice section of the lake. We saw osprey fishing.

Our rentals are very popular, so we recommend you make a reservation as soon as you know your plans. June through August, rentals can be picked up at 8am and must be returned by 6:45 pm.

You can rent kayaks and canoes from Grand Teton Kayaking & Canoeing per hour with a minimum of 2 hours. Reservations are not available and rentals are on a first come, first-served basis. You can rent them at the Colter Bay Village Marina in the park. Canoe and kayak rental times vary depending on the season and are open to all ages.
If you would prefer to take a boat to Jackson Lake, located north of Jackson Hole, you are more than welcome to. Our boats are located in Alpine, Wyoming, loaded on a trailer and ready to tow. If you do plan on going to Jackson Lake, we suggest a multiple day rental. The tow from Alpine to Jackson Lake is over 2 hours one way.
